Anchor Alarm with Late Set 5.11

The Anchor Alarm app provides a sense of safety and security while you are anchored. It offers instant alerts and notifications in case your anchor drags or the GPS reception weakens.

With the app, you have the option to set the alarm late if you forget to do so when dropping the anchor. You can also manually adjust the anchor position on the map screen or enter the coordinates manually if you have saved them on another device.

If you need to go ashore, you can pause the alarm and reactivate it when you return. The app allows you to choose between a circular area or draw a custom area on the map for monitoring.

The app records the movement of your boat and displays a track on the map screen. It operates in the background without requiring an internet connection. Additionally, it supports dark mode and features a simple and native user interface.

The Find My Boat feature remembers the location of your boat when you leave and can guide you back to it later. It can also indicate your last anchor position if you forgot to set the boat's location. This is particularly useful in crowded anchorages or when using a dinghy.

The Anchorage Map includes a free map with over 8000 anchorages worldwide, displaying available depths.

The application is fully customizable, allowing you to personalize your experience by adjusting settings such as measurement units, alarm sounds, GPS accuracy threshold, and the time before triggering an alarm for bad GPS accuracy.

Furthermore, the app supports Apple Watch, providing information on distance to the anchor, GPS accuracy, as well as monitoring boat speed and heading.

You can also create Siri shortcuts to conveniently start and stop monitoring using voice commands.
